Corporate Partnership and Charitable Giving Opportunities
Welcome! Making FriendshipWorks part of your corporate social responsibility platform is an alliance you can be proud of!
You’re a great fit to partner with our nonprofit IF your business and its employees:
- Believe that high-quality social connections are essential to our mental and physical health, and to our well-being.
- Are inspired to help elders choosing to age in place in their communities, and maintain and/or improve their quality of life and dignity.
- Share a genuine desire to improve health outcomes for older adults by investing in FriendshipWorks’ effective strategies to reduce social isolation and loneliness in their lives.
Partnership opportunities can be found here.
Since 1984, FriendshipWorks has worked to reduce social isolation in Greater Boston by matching volunteers with older adults in need of companionship and assistance. We offer a menu of programming that enables elders to stay healthy, engaged, and connected in their communities. All volunteers are screened and carefully matched with an older adult to share time and friendship, accompany individuals to medical appointments, assist with small tasks, or enjoy a walk/trip outside together. For a list of ways your employees (and their pets!) can make a difference in the lives of older adults throughout Boston, Brookline, Newton, Somerville, and Cambridge by volunteering, please visit here.
Flexible Options as a FriendshipWorks’ Corporate Partner
Corporate partnership commitment levels with FriendshipWorks start at $15,000, with benefits customized to help your company reach its strategic goals. Multiple-year cash pledges, cause-marketing campaigns, fundraising events, or grants through a related foundation are great ways to amplify your partnership with FriendshipWorks. Whether your goal is to foster a culture of philanthropy among your employees and shareholders, increase employee engagement and volunteerism, or elevate your brand through cause marketing/public relations opportunities, together we can strategize to create an enduring partnership with FriendshipWorks that brings all of us closer to ending social isolation among elders!
Other Ways to Make Charitable Giving a Priority in Your Workplace
Donating to FriendshipWorks through payroll deductions, fundraising, or a matching gift program allows us to deliver our programming to isolated elders in our service areas. From a $10 donation each paycheck to rallying coworkers towards a $5,000 fundraising goal as a team in our annual Walk to End Elder Isolation, every dollar helps older adults living alone find companionship and assistance.
We look forward to developing a mutually beneficial partnership with your company and FriendshipWorks!
